Why should you consider taking childbirth education classes like Birth with Confidence?

Why should you consider taking MY childbirth education classes?

I offer:

  • an upbeat, FUN, non-judgmental learning environment

  • in-person and virtual learning opportunities (winter sessions are virtual; spring, summer, and fall sessions are in-person)

  • information geared towards teaching people how to have a safe AND awesome experience

  • evidence-based information 

  • hands-on opportunities to practice techniques

  • inclusive language 

  • knowledge of local hospital culture from attending multiple births around the Madison community

  • practical knowledge of what different births look like (vaginal births, medicated or unmedicated, inductions, surgical births, home births, etc.)

Details:

This is an in-person class for parents expecting in mid-late 2024 to early 2025. Classes meet in my home studio on the east side every Wednesday from 6:30 - 8:30 pm CST. Students are encouraged to attend with their birth partner since there will be education for support people as well.

 

Class Dates and Times:

Six-Week Summer Session: Tuesdays June 4, 11, 18, 25, July 2, 9,  (7/16 backup date) 6:30 - 8:30 pm CST

Six-Week Fall Session: Wednesdays September 4, 11, 18, October 2, 9, 16,  (10/23 backup date) 6:30 - 8:30 pm CST

Three-Week Winter Session: Mondays and Wednesdays December 2 & 4, 9 & 11, and 16 & 18 (1/6 & 8/2025 backup date) 6:30 - 8:30 pm CST

 

Tuition cost:

$300/couple. Includes class, call/text/email support before and after the birth, and additional handouts!

My hope is to make this class financially accessible for everyone who is interested in taking it. I am open to organizing alternative payment methods like FSA/HSA payments, payment plans, sliding scale options, bartering, or some combination of those options. Please reach out for more information if this would be helpful.
